Revelation: An Expositional Commentary

Workbook (paperback)

by Dr. Chuck Missler

(This Comprehensive Workbook is designed to facilitate study and should be used in conjunction with the Commentary on Revelation audio or multimedia materials.)

The Book of Revelation is the only book of the Bible with a Promise to the reader! Why? What makes this book so special?

Revelation is a "lens" that puts the entire Bible into focus. The lens is focused on the person of Jesus Christ, and his destiny is imminent. This is a book of victory: We are overcomers! We are the ultimate winners in the game of life! (I read the ending: we win!)

One of the reasons this book strikes us as strange is because of our lack of understanding concerning the Old Testament. The Book of Revelation consists of 404 verses that contain over 800 allusions to the Old Testament. These are detailed, along with Chuck's analysis of the design and structure of this fascinating book. Learn about the past, present and future of the Church and our ultimate destiny. This is an ideal "first study" and foundational for every Christian.

This Comprehensive Workbook will facilitate study if used in conjunction with the new Revelation audio or multimedia materials and it covers:

  • Introduction - Some general comments about the Book of Revelation and its uniqueness. Why this book contains a special blessing.
  • Revelation 1 - "The things which thou hast seen." The vision which opens the book and the verse that organizes it.

I am no longer scared
I first listened to this series on tape in the late eighties. I loved the seven letters to the seven churches but did not retain the later chapter studies. However, recently I studied this again and no longer fear Revelation and awkward questions that can come from the book. I have recommended it to many as it makes the book accessible, enjoyable and leaves one with a good understanding of what is really going on.
Essential listening for all serious bible students.

in itself this is a revelation!
This study has put me on my way to discover a passion for unvealing the truths in the Bible. The analysis of the seven letters from Jesus to the angels of the seven churches is an eye opener to the days we live in, the history we come from.. and the future we're heading for!

After attending several classes on the book of Revelation and listening to countless commentaries, I was still unsure at all the analogies being construed by teacher after teacher. I was pointed to Dr. Chuck Missler through another study and decided to go ahead and purchase his revelation commentaries. I was blown away as I watched Dr. Missler Literally unravel the book of revelation using only other books of the bible as his base. This is the ONLY commentary on the book of revelation worth purchasing that is readily available to the common public. Dr. Missler shows how God says exactly what he means and means exactly what he says! I would strongly recommend this study to any true Christian that accepts the simple biblical truth that God put his word here to be taken literally and that no church has authority over its meaning or power.
